News fatigue or news anxiety, is a state of being overwhelmed, tired, or stressed due to constant exposure to news, particularly when it is predominantly negative or seems inescapable. You might feel increased stress and anxiety, with mood changes, either avoidance of news of the opposite - a disproportionate focus on news. And your sleep, tech use and relationships can all be effected.
