Friendships and ADHD
Do you wish you could give more time and energy to friendships? Ever lost a friend due to ‘going hermit’, or forgetting to reply to a text or message? Then feel so guilty (they are going to hate you!) so you avoid replying altogether?
There’s lots of reasons why we might struggle to maintain precious friendships when we have ADHD. These include emotional dysregulation, RSD, energy inconsistency, and ‘info dumping’ our latest special interest, or struggling to read certain social cues.
We’ll cover these challenges plus lots more (and solutions).
